Korean speaking Freight Forwarding Logistics coordinator

Job Summary

Full time : Monday to Friday (8hours)

Import/Export Freight Forwarding Coordinator Toronto, ON Primary Functions: This position is responsible for communications with clients and oversea agents to coordinate the routing and booking of international air/ocean freight.

Responsibilities include:

· Ensure an on-time delivery in a cost-effective manner in order to maximize customer experience and departmental profitability

· Problem solving with the agents and carriers to insure the prompt movement of cargo.

· Communicating with clients to determine the best shipping methods.

· Analyzing shipping schedules to determine proper transportation of cargo.

· Provide excellent customer service and being able to provide clear and thorough answer to their questions.

· Arrange shipments for delivery and coordinate customs clearance with broker.

· Enter shipment details into the Transportation Management System.

· Assist with rate collections, analyze freight rates, and provide customer quotations.

· Negotiate rates with carriers and agents.

· Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Main Requirements

· Prefer minimum 1 year of international freight forwarding experience

· Experience in Ocean and Air inbound, outbound in Canada

· Diploma / Degree preferred

· Prefer fluent both in English & Korean

· Working permit welcome (expiry date over 2years) and PR and citizenship
